Gentlemen and List Members:
Each state may set its own punishment for violations of the fire prevention
code, or similar. In Virginia, it is a Class 1 Misdemeanor, which means
confinement in jail for not more than twelve months and a fine of not more
than $2500, either or both. However, enforcement and conviction is another
story .....
