GET INVOLVED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Dear student leaders and advisors:

As you know, ASG is always trying to include more aspects of leadership as well as various backgrounds and experiences to strengthen Miami’s student government. There are currently 24 open positions for OFF-CAMPUS SENATORS for the 2009-2010 year. The Off-Campus senators sit on two ASG committee of their choice as well as attend weekly Senate meetings, Tuesday nights at 6pm. Nominated candidates are required to have a petition of support signed by 35 people; the entire student body then votes for these positions on BlackBoard.

**No prior experience or ASG affiliation is necessary.
**Public speeches are also not required for the election – many candidates simply campaign for themselves via FaceBook, email, and other traditional methods.

We are trying hard to DIVERSIFY the membership and experience of ASG! THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
