Subject: Fusion

During seminar last year for the middle childhood and special education cohort, you always mentioned that as future teachers, we should be looking for diverse events to attend since we will be encountering many diverse students in our future classrooms. I'm in the Asian American Association (AAA) and am participating in Fusion, our association's annual Asian cultural show; we've been practicing for this show for about 5 months! There is singing, dancing, and a martial arts demonstration. I am in the fashion show, Cambodian Coconut dance, and co-leading the girl's modern dance.

It's this Saturday at 2pm in Hall Auditorium (by King Library). Tickets are $5 and if you pay an extra $3 you get dinner too (dinner tickets are limited in number) and are sold in the basement at Shriver. We may be selling tickets at the door but I'm not sure about that.

I was wondering if you could please advertise this event to your students and any current education cohorts during class or by email. This is a really good opportunity for future teachers to learn about several different Asian cultures at once!
