STUDENT TEACHING
Please be aware that student teaching applications for Summer and Fall 2001
semesters are due. You should bring your application with biography and
DARS to 201 McGuffey definitely by Friday, 3:00 PM, January 26, if not
sooner.

EARLY CHILDHOOD INTERVENTION SPECIALIST COHORT GROUPS FOR 2001 AND SPECIAL
EDUCATION MAJOR APPLICATIONS
Applications to enter the Early Childhood Field Block (the first step for
possible early childhood intervention specialist majors) and any of the
majors in special education will be due on March 1 in the EDP Office.
Please watch the SPEDNET for updates and more information. You can respond
to this message if you have questions (it will not be distributed to the
entire list).

SPEDNET
It is important that you review these SPEDNET messages since they are an
essential way you receive information about the special education program.
If you are not in the habit of accessing email regularly or have a
preferred email account unassociated with the university, you need to make
contact with a colleague/friend to alert you and/or arrange to have your
muohio.edu address forwarded to your preferred account.

ADVISORS
Your main point of contact for getting information about the special
education program is your advisor. Generally, for course scheduling or day
to day questions, you can also contact Liz Bailey who is our special
education guru regarding the intricacies of the special education program.
The list that follows indicates everyone we have listed as a pre-major,
major, or minor and that student's advisor. If you know of someone not on
the list who is a major or minor or pre-major, please let me know.
