Dear Students,

All of you may be aware of the newly designed one credit hour (credit/no credit) class that will prepare you to take the middle school math praxis exam. Many of you had specific questions. I want to answer your questions and then I'd like a clear determination from you if you would like to take the class.
MTH 330 - Special Problems will be offered on Mondays in the fall semester from 2:15-3:05
The class just meets for this one 50 min session per week and is taught by a Math faculty member, Dr. Jane Kaiser.
It is credit-no credit, so no grade will be assigned and it will have no impact on your GPA.
The intent is to prepare you to take the Praxis II Math test for middle school.
Taking the class does not commit you to taking the MATH praxis - that is up to you.
Passing the middle school math praxis will make you Highly Qualified in Ohio to teach math through high school as an Intervention Specialist.

You will have to be manually added to this class so if you are interested in being regsitered for it, please email me and include your:
Name, Banner plus#, and unique ID.

Sincerely,
Molly Kelly-Elliott
