CEC Webinar Series
There are a few different webinar series offered regularly, so we can
always wait as a group to decide on one that we definitely would like
to go with. Coming up in October and December we have these webinars:

This webinar will provide an overview of essential features of
schoolwide and within-classroom supports that have proven to reduce
problem behavior and increase pro-social behavior.
Oct. 20: Addressing Bullying Behavior Through Schoolwide Positive
Behavior Supports
This webinar will provide an overview of how to effectively embed
strategies to address bullying behavior through schoolwide positive
behavior supports.
Oct. 25: Designing Individual Student Positive Behavior Support Plans
Through Functional Behavioral Assessment
This webinar will focus on the essential features of an FBA and
individual positive behavior support plan. The basic logic of FBAs,
plus tools to conduct them, will be discussed.

The Political Roller Coaster and Education Policy: What Do Special
Educators Need to Know?
Oct. 13 and Dec. 6, 4-5 p.m. ET
Oct. 13: Capitol Controversy: How the Political Climate is Shaping
Education Policy
Dec. 6: Hang On! Federal Budget: What Do Special Educators Really Need to Know?

For a single webinar it is $89. As a group we can decide which and all
chip in money and on the date and time of the webinar we can have a
room and project it in the room.
