Student Teaching in Fall 2001?
A reminder to those of you who are planning to student teach in the fall,
2001 semester. We are having a meeting tonight (Wednesday) with your
university supervisor and myself to discuss placements and procedures for
student teaching. I will remain in 201 McGuffey until at least 6:00. For
those of you taking practicum class please stop by after class ends. For
those of you who cannot make it at 4:00 (work, field experience, other
classes) please stop by afterwards, at least until 6:00 PM.

Dean Candidates
Over the next month there will be three individuals coming to campus who
are candidates for Dean of Education and Allied Professions. You are
invited to attend meetings with them.

>Please inform your students this week (all week), that their will be
>an opportunity for them to talk with our first EAP Dean Candidate,
>Dr. Larry Ebbers, on Sunday January 21st at 5:00-6:00 p.m. in 304
>McGuffey. (A larger room will be available if needed)

SPEDNET
A reminder that these SPEDNET notices are the primary way for you to
receive information about issues for special education pre-majors, majors,
and minors (with and without licensure/certification). You can review all
previous messages through the EDP webpage (www.muohio.edu/edp) by selecting
"SPEDNET Newsletters" from the menu. There should be no one who is major,
minor, or pre-major in special education NOT receiving these notices. We
have been very careful in maintaining membership on this Listserv. A bounty
is offered if you find a major, minor, or pre-major, appropriately signed
up, who is not receiving these messages.

Questions
If you have questions about courses, the special education program
requirements, or other issues related to scheduling you can contact your
assigned advisor and/or Liz Bailey ([log in to unmask]). An outline of
each licensure program requirements is on our website. If you prefer, you
can ask questions by replying to this message (it will not be distributed
to the list).
