Several student teachers asked me the other day which Praxis tests to
take. You take all 3 tests recommended for Intervention Specialists: 1.
Special Education, Application of Core Principles,(10352) 2. Special
Education, Knowledge-based Core Principles,(20351) and 3. Special Education
Principles of Learning and Teaching--choose one of the areas: K-6, 5-9 or
7-12. For persons in the new program, you would choose the grade range of
your Content Pedagogy (Early Childhood, Middle, or Adolescent). For the
old program, I would suggest either K-6 or 5-9. This imformation is all in
room 200 McGuffey.
Regarding passage of the tests, if you do not pass any subtest, you must
take it again until you do. Hope this helps. Good luck, Dr. Everington
