On Monday, March 6, 2000, Dr. Rena Sorensen will present an introductory
workshop on the application of Applied Behavior Analysis in the treatment
of children with autism.  It will take place at the Kenwood Baptist Church
from 7pm-9pm, co-sponsored by FEAT of Greater Cincinnati, the Autism
Society of Greater Cincinnati, and the Kelly O'Leary Center.

Some of the topics that will be discussed include:
- What is ABA and the evolution of Intensive Behavioral Intervention?
- What does the research tell us?
- Core components of an ABA program
- What is Discrete Trial Teaching?
- Myths and misconceptions about ABA (there are many)
- Which children benefit from ABA and how intensive should it be?

- Functional Analysis
- Treatment of problem behaviors
