EDP 450G, Mentoring At-Risk Youth, is a one-credit hour class in which students mentor a Talawanda High School student determined to be at risk for school failure. The student mentees are enrolled in Miami Connections, a unique on-campus alternative school program that meets in Boyd Hall on Western Campus. Class meets once a month on Thursday evenings, and you arrange one hour each week to meet with your mentee. Criminal background check required.
There are about 10 slots left for next semester; hope you'll consider joining us!
