Hello Special Education Majors,

As this semester comes to a close, all the faculty in EDP would like
to wish you a wonderful summer. We look forward to seeing some of
you in summer school, and a lot of you next fall. For our graduates,
we send our warmest congratulations and best wishes in your teaching
careers. We would love to hear back from you about the experiences
you have in your first year, and would welcome you back as guest
speakers in our classes. We know you will make a difference in the
lives of many children and families. Please keep in touch.

Today in the Miami Student, there is a story of a 7 year old boy in
Canada with leukemia who is trying to achieve receiving the most
birthday cards ever. He will be eight on May 30. It seems only
fitting that special education majors participate in his
endeavor. Send your birthday card to:
Shane Bernier
P.O. Box 484
Lancaster, Ontario
KOC INO
Canada

Lastly, for those of you awaiting a status change from pre-major to
major, the registrar's office said they would work on it today! :-)

Good luck on exams, and stay in touch!

The Special Education Faculty
