New Student Programs is coordinating a Meet & Greet event during the FYI Block Party for first year students to get excited about Miami and connect with each other, and we need your help! We need student leaders to help facilitate this event filled with activities for all 3,600 members in the Class of 2014. The Meet & Greet is an opportunity for you, current student leaders, to meet new students; promote your clubs, organizations, and teams; invite new students to check out your tables at MegaFair; and excite students about getting involved. We’ll have games, inflatables, music, a hypnotist performance, and time to mingle with new students throughout the Block Party. In addition, all students who help with the event will receive a free dinner. Your clubs, organizations, or teams can bring as many members as you’d like; in fact, this could be a great reunion before classes begin.

The Meet & Greet is from 4pm-7pm on Saturday, August 21 at Yager Stadium. We ask that you wear apparel from the club, team, or organization you represent during the Meet & Greet. For more information and to sign up visit www.muohio.edu/orientation/meetandgreet<http://www.muohio.edu/orientation/meetandgreet>.

When I dare to be powerful - to use my strength in the service of my vision - then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.
