Hey!  I hope everyone is having a great break!  I wanted to tell you of our first 2 events in January because I don't know if we can have a meeting before them!

Wednesday, January 21, from 6-8:45pm we are doing our Bartending Fundraiser at Kona Bistro again.  The buddies will get an opportunity to bartend and Best Buddies gets a portion of the tips and the donations from the night!  You can invite your buddy to eat with you, or come and eat with your friends to help support!

Saturday, January 24, we are going to a Miami Basketball game.  The game starts at 4pm, but arrive at 3:30.  We will be doing a special pregame activity with the team.  So, arrive at 3:30 at Millet by the doors across from the parking lot.  I need you to let me know if you are coming to this event though, so they can save seats for us all together, but its free!  Please email me if you plan to attend!! Thanks!!!

So, mark your calenders for Jan. 21 and Jan. 24.  I hope all of you have been talking to your buddies over break.  If you have not had a one on one event with your buddy, PLEASE make sure you do so before the basketball game!
