Dear Faculty and Advisor:

Please encourage your best students to apply for a paid summer internship program offered through the University Honors and Scholars Program.  It is open to all sophomores and juniors with a university GPA of not less than 3.3.  Applicants do not need to be in the Honors Program.  See attached flyer.

A $4000 stipend is provided for ten weeks of full-time work in Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Dayton.  Students combine professional internships with a service component to engage in active learning environments and learn about urban issues.

Information sessions are scheduled on the following dates:

Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 5:30PM            Benton 213
Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012  4:00PM   Benton 213

Applications for the Urban Leadership Internship Program are now available at the University Honors Program office in Old Manse or download from the website, www. miamiOH.edu/ulip and are due on November 12, 2012.
