Hello Students, I have two news items to share:

1.  There is a conflict between two popular EDP summer school 
courses, EDP 496 and EDP 497, the capstone.  EDP 496 is in Summer I 
and 497 is Summer II.  They conflict on 4 class days, T & R of the 
first two weeks of Summer II.  Dr. Magnan and I have discussed the 
overlap and feel we can make the needed accommodations to allow 
students to take both.  We will work out the details closer to the 
start of the courses and communicate with all of you taking both.  I 
assume you will need to force add one of them as Bannerweb may not 
let you register for both.  Either is okay.

2.  If you have a SPA thematic sequence f you need to take SPA 233 in 
the fall and are concerned that it is not on the schedule to be 
offered in Fall 07, I have spoken with the SPA chair and she is 
likely going to add the course to the fall schedule. I'll keep you 
posted, or you can keep checking Bannerweb.
