ATTENTION - OLD PROGRAM MAJORS AND
MINORS -
PRAXIS TEST INFORMATION

If you are being certified (NOT LICENSED) in DH, LD,
MH or SBH under the old program guidelines you are
eligible to take either -  the old NTE specialty area tests
or the new Specialty Area tests (for licensure in Mild/
Moderate, Moderate/Intensive, Early Childhood or Gifted).
The next testing date is 11/18/00.  You can take the test
on a standby basis on that day by contacting - Cindy
Mackey, Counseling Service, Warfield Hall, 529-4634.
To register for the old tests you will need to use the codes
listed below as they are not in the booklet.

OLD TEST CODES (CERTIFICATION)

Educ. Of Mentally Retarded Students

Teach Emotionally Disturbed Students

NEW PROGRAM people - you HAVE TO TAKE  the
new tests for licensure.
