Hour One: Weekly News Roundup: A panel of journalists join Lynn for
review and analysis of the week's top national and international news
stories, including President Bush's plans to proceed with development
of the missile defense system, and the latest on the US - China
relationship. Guests: Tony Blankley, Washington Times; Clarence Page,
Chicago Tribune; Karen Tumulty, Time Magazine
Hour Two: On the job with "Green" Architects: As energy costs rise,
so does demand for environmentally friendly design in commercial,
residential, and public buildings. In May's installment of the "On
the Job series," guest host Lynn Neary talks with three architects
about "building green." Guests: Rick Harlan Schneider, Architect and
Partner, istudiodesign; Sandy Mendler, Vice President, Director of
Sustainable Design with Hellmuth Obata and Kassabaum (www.HOK.com)
and Chair of the American Institute of Architects' Committee on the
Environment; Greg Mella, Project Architect with The Smith Group

Fresh Air with Terry Gross (Noon - 1pm); guest host Neal Conan
RUTH REICHL <REYE-shuyl>, the editor in chief of "Gourmet" magazine
and former New York Times restaurant critic. Her new memoir, "Comfort
Me with Apples," continues the story she began in her bestseller,
"Tender at the Bone." Also, "The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg" is
on Cinemax this month. The documentary tells the story of America's
first Jewish baseball star. We'll hear from his son, STEPHEN
GREENBERG.

for a discussion of North Carolina's coastal issues -- from the
health of fish populations to the dynamics of the state's sandy
shores.
