The following information was taken from an account provided by the Columbia
(Missouri) Fire Department.  More information will be contained in an
upcoming issue of Campus Firewatch.

Columbia, Missouri

A fire in a utility room adjacent to the kitchen of a cafeteria was started
by towelletes that had been placed in a dryer for an extended period of
time.  The fire was controlled by the activation of a single sprinkler head.
According to the fire department, the evacuation was orderly and there were
no problems noted.
