art, literature, and folklore, since the first drawings of a rounded
red shape were painted on a cave wall 12,000 years ago.

Fresh Air (noon - 1 pm)
The space station MIR will be back on Earth soon. After 15
years and more than 80-thousand orbits, the station is scheduled to
splash down in the Pacific Ocean this spring. US Astronaut CAPTAIN
JERRY LINENGER (LIN-in-jehr) spent five months aboard MIR. During his
shift on the Russian space station, he faced inadequate supplies,
constant system failures and a life-threatening fire.

Though critics call it risky, a program in New York City
moves the so-called "hard core" homeless straight from the streets to
their own apartments. It's called Pathways to Housing. An in-depth

substance abuse problems in housing with only a few conditions, and
how well it seems to work.
