Exactly.
Student support, while often quite strong, is inherently transient; support
of production services can't afford to be transient.
In any case, the present arrangement (Pine and Pico being made available, and
kept up to date, by MCIS but on a 'use at your own risk' / 'find your own help'
basis) appears to be fairly effective.
