The Partisan Prohibition Historical Society seeks nominations for its 2001 Certificate of Merit. The recipient will be a person or organization which has had notable success in preserving the history of the Prohibition Party. Some previous awardees include: Maine Woman's Christian Temperance Union (for preserving the Neal Dow Home), Argonia & Western Sumter County (Kansas) Historical Society (for making a museum of the Dora Salter home), Michigan Historical Collections (for their Prohibtion Party archive), Sarah Ward (for her 125th anniversary history of the WCTU), and Roger Storms (founder of the Society).
