Hello Majors and Pre-majors!  I hope your semester is getting off to an interesting and energetic start!  Please read the news below for opportunities you’ll want to know about:

  1. Best Buddies will have its first organizational meeting of the year tomorrow, Wednesday 8/29 at 8PM in room 120 McGuffey Hall. All are welcome!  This organization seeks to build friendships between persons with disabilities and persons without. Anyone can participate. Come find out about this wonderful student organization!

 

  1. The student group No Child Left Behind-Reparation group will have its first organizational meeting Thursday, 8/30 in Room 217 McGuffey from 8-9PM.  This group seeks to fully know the No Child Left Behind Act and to find ways to make the law more just and equitable.  All are welcome!  Join the quest to make accountability valid and realistic.

 

 

  1. Watch for coming news about the Student Council for Exceptional Children organization. You won’t want to miss membership in this group!  Not only does this look great on your resume but also will connect you with valuable information in your field. It will also entitle you to attend this year’s national conference in Boston, Mass!
