Hello All, Please read below for an opportunity to tutor a 3rd grader and possibly be paid for it as well. You may need a car. Several students have asked recently for job opps.

Subject: for SpedNet: paid tutoring opp.

This message is from the school psychologist I'm working with at Union Co. She says parents are willing to pay for tutoring. They live in Brookville, IN, about 20 minutes SW of Oxford.
Sincerely, Dr. Leah

The student is a 3rd grader, 9 years old. They receive special education services for an autism spectrum disorder and cognitive disabilities. The student is far below grade level in reading, math, and writing. The family is looking for a tutor to work with the student either in the school setting or after school. This would be a great opportunity to work with a child with special needs who needs some very basic skill instruction, and collaboration with the student's service providers would be necessary.

Mom's name is Angie Burger. The phone number is 765-647-6502. She works 3rd shift and is usually awake around 1 p.m. An alternate number is grandmother's cell phone (I can't find her name anywhere, though). That number is 765-220-2506. She works days.
