Mock Interview Day for Teacher Candidates

Provides Education majors who are seniors with real-world interviewing experience by engaging seasoned professionals from school systems as volunteer mock interviewers. The typical mock interview will be 20-30 minutes with a 10-15 minute critique.

Date: Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011
Time: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Location: 200 Hoyt Hall (on the Western Campus)
When can I schedule a mock interview for Nov. 10 ?

We hope to have a schedule available by the middle of October, if not sooner. We will send you an announcement via e-mail with detailed instructions.

What should I do now to prepare for the sign-up?

 1.  Any senior education major who would like to participate in a mock interview must attend either:
    *   Making Employer Contacts & Interviewing (listed above) or
    *   Career Services 101<http://www.units.muohio.edu/careers/students/programsandcareeradvising.shtml>.
    *   You only need to attend one of the above programs during your time at Miami.
 2.  Review and update your Miami CAREERlink profile.
 3.  Have a resume prepared to upload to your Miami CAREERlink account.
