She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship. At Miami, Alex was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. For two years, she was both a Resident Assistant and a Student Senator. Within the Psychology Department, Alex received the USS Summer Scholars Grant and the Dean's Scholar grant to pursue research in cognitive psychology. Throughout college, Alex was employed by University Hospital of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Currently, Alex is employed by dunnhumbyUSA in Cincinnati.
