Dear Advising Colleagues,

First, I apologize if you are receiving this request more than once. We have begun recruitment efforts for the International Peer Orientation Leader (iPOL) position for the fall 2013 International Student Orientation.

iPols play an extremely important role in facilitating a smooth transition to Miami, life in Oxford and the U.S. for international students during these vital first few days. For this reason, we value our iPols very much, and want to select the best students for the job to ensure that our new international students feel welcomed and supported upon arriving to Miami.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance in distributing the below iPOL position announcement to your advising staff and faculty in hopes they can inform students in their advising appts. I have also attached a referral flyer that you can print and hand to students you believe are strong candidates for the iPOL position. If you would rather me send you the referral flyers in inner-campus mail, please reply with your office location and I will be happy to do so.
