Dear Seniors,  I don't know if any of you wold be interested but I thought I would send this along.
TEACCH is one of the most commonly adopted models of intervention for kids with autism and this is
an opportunity for training this summer. I don't see the cost so you'll have to investigate further if interested.
Some school districts pay and send their teachers for training.

Research consistently indicates that individuals with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) respond favorably to a structured environment. This workshop will provide participants with an understanding of how and why to implement structured teaching strategies, such as visual schedules, work systems and deliberately designed work materials. Attendance is required for all 5 days. Program runs from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day.
