Technology and Language: A Global Perspective

January 1rst/2nd - January 18th in Belize.

Three pre-departure preparation sessions in Oxford during Fall 2015 semester.

·      Immerse yourself in everyday life in Caye Caulker, an island off the coast of Belize

·      Complete six (6) Miami credits

EDP 443: Technology in Education

EDT 221: Teaching English Language Learners

·      Volunteer and work closely with the three local schools: pre-school, elementary, and high school

·      Volunteer to tutor ESL adults in the community

·      Visit Mayan ruins in the mainland

·      Snorkel the barrier reef of Belize

·      Meet the members of the Ministry of Education

·      Dance and drumming classes

·      Etc. 

Attend an informational meeting:
