Many thanks for the further details provided on the ATHG and it's
journal SHAR would it be possible to provide the list with the
email/mail addresses of the regional specialists.
 
I am a mature student doing a Phd in women in the temperance movement
up to the first world was and would be interested to correspond with
other researchers in the field. Based in Manchester my work obviously
will include developments in the city.
 
The Manchester & Salford Women's Christian Temperance Association ran
an Inebriates Home under the provision of the relevant 1868? -
189? )acts. (Sorry don't have the exact dates to hand)
 
I hope this list can flourish and provide us all with a medium for
the exchange of information and ideas.
