Paul Roman informed me yesterday that John Rumbarger has died.  I spoke
with John's wife, Janet, yesterday afternoon by telephone.  She said
that he learned of a cancer in February and passed away on August 26.
 
I would like to prepare a note for _SHAR_ and would welcome any emails
from the list's members.
