[log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask] Many ADHS members
know Dan as the co-organizer of the International Conference on Drugs
and Alcohol in History, held in May 2004 at Huron University College,
London, Ontario, Canada.

Dan Malleck and co-editors W. Scott Haine, Jon Miller, and Jim Mills
are currently at work on SHAD, volume 20 (2005) and volume 21 (2006).
They welcome submissions, preferably by email.

SHAD's volume 18 (nominally 2003) and volume 19 (nominally 2004) are
scheduled to go to the printer in January 2005. David Fahey served as
interim editor in chief for these volumes.

SHAD is the successor to the Social History of Alcohol Review (SHAR).
The change in name occurred when the 25-year-old Alcohol and Temperance
History Group was reorganized as the Alcohol and Drugs History Society.
Ian R. Tyrrell is ADHS president.
