Dear Greg:

I have a suggestion for your "bad habits" issue. This spring Harvard
University Press is publishing my book, Forces of Habit: Drugs and the
Making of the Modern World, which has a good deal of material on how doctors
both created and responded to the growing drug problem during the modern
era. Perhaps if you asked the press for a review copy you could get someone
to write a review or review-essay about the book, which would fit in nicely
with the theme of the issue.

Hello:

I am enclosing a call for papers by the Canadian Bulletin of Medical
History. The file attachment is in WordPerfect.

Thanks.
