I fear that my student has spent most of his semester roughly
defining  at topic and will have to confine his research to materials
available at Miami University or nearby.  I should rephrase my
question: are there periodicals for the pre-National Prohibition Era
that provide good examples of alcoholic beverage advertising?  Many
thanks.  (And I may have to pursue some of Byron Johnson's archival
suggestions myself after THE book is completed this coming winter.)
