You might try reaching Michael Wadsworth, Ph.D., who is Director of the MRC
National Survey of Health & Development, University College London & the
Middlesex Hospital Medical School, Dept. of Community Medicine.  He has been
tracking people since the forties and has also studied alcohol consumption and
alcoholism in at least two generations.
