Hey, ya'll.

I'm interested in opening a discussion or participating in a discussion
about the ways in which alcoholism has been defined, both prior to the
temperance movement and over the duration of it. I find it intriguing that
we are able to move through multiple conceptualization of such "social
problems," and I'm particularly interested in thinking about this issue in
terms of the "drug wars" (war on drugs) that we (Americans) are currently
carrying out.
