Thanks for forwarding the review.  I have been putting off reading
Kazin's book, and now I am again reminded how important it is.  I'm going
out to get a copy this morning.
 
If others are interested in pursuing a more detailed discussion of the
relationship between populism and prohibition, I will gladly jump in.  Since
I'm (still) working on this dissertation on Texas prohibitionists, I
suspect that I stand to benefit the most.  Right now I'd better catch up
on my reading.
