Hi,
We Canadians have a reputation for modesty...or maybe it is the end of
term piles of papers on our desks. Anyway, here is my book if you think it
fits. Robert A. Campbell. _Demon Rum or Easy Money: Government Control of
Liquor in British Columbia From Prohibition to Privatization_. Ottawa:
Carleton U. Press, 1991. O-88629-152-6 (paperback).

As long as I am engaged in self promotion I just finished my dissertation
on regulating public drinking in Vancouver's beer parlours between 1925
and 1954.
Robert
