Anne
There has been some interesting archaeological research conducted on the
Harper's Ferry Brewery in West Virginia and the lives of brewery workers in the
town. In particular, Paul Shackel has edited a volume on the subject. Also, see
past issues of the journal for historical archaeology, which is now on-line.
