I think it is a good idea for the ATHG to have a World Wide Web Page.  I
could probably arrange to place it on our server (as long as it does not
take up very much disk space, say no more than 2 or 3 megabytes--which
allows for a lot of text).  I could work up something simple this summer to
get it started.
 
What should go on such a Web page?
 
for starters
 
1.      the purposes of the AThg
2.      activities of ATHG (could include titles and abstracts of papers
given at conferences by members, or sponsored by the Group)
3.      membership information in ATHG
4,      this discussion list, with subscription information
5.      links to other Web sites of interest to scholars concerned with
alcohol history
 
other ideas?
