At my university requests for textbook orders arrive early. Later this
month I must identify the books that I'll use next Fall including a new
senior seminar on alcohol and other drugs in world history. I have
been able to identify affordable books on drugs in world history. For
alcohol/temperance nearly all books are country specific. I have found
an affordable book for the USA. Is there anything for Britain that is
reasonably priced? The first book that I investigated lists at US$85
which isn't practical. By the way, the world histories of alcohol by
Phillips and by Hames won't be available in time for me.
