Thank you. Still awaiting several communications. It's always easy to spend
someone else's money; but I'd be glad to serve in the position of David
Lewis. I was told he was in touch with Soros. So maybe after the election,
he'll admit to more fund-rating capability.

Hi Dick,

Any takers for your Shoemaker materials yet?  Both Brown and Hazelden
seem beyond the acquiring stage, though I guess whoever paid all that
for the Big Book early draft must have the will and the funds.

Please keep in touch.  I am in the process of aiding the donation of the
papers Dan Anderson left at home with his wife, Marie, to the Brown
University Collection, which is now turning in a definite biographical
direction.   Trouble is David is broke, and donors have gotten scarce.
