The Ohio Academy of History Program Committee invites you to submit
proposals and papers for its annual meeting at Otterbein College
Westerville, OH, April 28-29, 2000.

We welcome proposals from all historians, whatever the nature of their
employment and whatever their field of specialization.  One need not be a
member of the Ohio Academy to submit a proposal for this annual state-wide
conference.

1. Proposals for entire sessions are encouraged, but single paper proposals
will be considered.
2. Panels and papers may deal with subjects in any field or any time period
of history, including, but not limited to, historiography, methodology,
pedagogy, public history, and research reports.
3. Proposals are to include: Title of panel, abstract for panel, abstract
for each paper (one, typed, double-spaced page per paper), full names of
participants (including moderator and commentator), status, institutional
affiliation (if any), and addresses (U.S. Mail and email) and phone numbers
of all participants.
4. Also, historians wishing to serve as moderators or commentators should
forward their names to the Program Chair with an indication of their
special areas.
5. Proposals by mail or fax ONLY are due no later than MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1,
1999 to:
