The International Organization of Good Templars will hold its international
meeting at Syracuse, New York, from 30 July to 6 August 2000.  The first
three days will consist of a cultural conference and celebration of 150
years of the IOGT (founded in Syracuse and nearby Utica).  The second three
days will see a conference sponsored by the _Globe_ magazine on alcohol and
drug problems.  The meetings will be held at the Radisson hotel.  For
