This week's issue of "The Economist" (6 September 1997) has a review of a
book by Philip Van Munching, "Beer Blast" (published by Times Business,
$24), which claims that the author offers in it "a concise history of the
beer industry in America." Van Munching's grandfather owned a business that
imported Heineken and built it up to become the top-selling imported brand
in America, and the author himself was director of advertising. The
reviewer finds the book "funny and informative."
