The 1970 edition of the Oxford Classical Dictionary has a short
biographical paragraph on Mago, and cites as its source B. H. Warmington,
_Carthage_1960. For the ultimate reference, see A. Pauly, G. Wissowa, W.
Kroll,_Real-Encyclopaedie der klassischen Alterumswissenschaft_ 1893. I am
curious about his relevance to alcohol/temperance. By the way, did you
receive my reply to your last posted request for information?
