Global Game Jam is less than two weeks away. Please encourage your students and peers to participate or contact me about volunteering. We are expecting about 18 students, but would love more. A few things to note about the event:

1. You do not need to know how to program to participate – there is always need for artists (visual and audio), designers, and generally creative people
2. It is open to anyone, so faculty, staff and members of the general community are invited to participate
3. Food will be provided for the entire event
4. Dr. Johnny Wilson, a veteran of the game industry, will be our guest during the event, offering advice and helping with ideas.
5. We will be providing a live broadcast of the event, shared with locations around the world
6. Volunteers are welcome and appreciated; we have a variety of 2 hour to full day slots.

Please visit the website (http://aims.muohio.edu/gamejam) for information, pictures, the schedule, what to bring, and more. Or become a fan of our Facebook page, Global Game Jam Miami University. Thanks!
