Dearest A.L.A.S. Members,
Hello...its seems like it has been ages since we have seen your smiling faces, I just need to send out this short email to update you on some very exciting and important ALAS events!

•       GLOBAL HOLIDAY PARTY: December 3rd from 3pm-6pm.
o       ALAS is going to have a table with a small presentation and some fun facts about holidays in Latin America. If there is something unique about the way you celebrate with your family, please email Jen and let her know so we can include that in the presentation!

•       Attached to this email is the USHLI APPLICATION. If you are interested in going to the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute, you need to fill out the attached application and turn it in to JOSE by December 5th.

•       Jen will be leaving A.L.A.S. in the Spring because she is going to study in Washington D.C. Sad news for her, good news for anyone that wants to participate in the A.L.A.S. EXEC board. We will have nominations at the next meeting on December 2nd @ 6:30pm. Elections will then occur on December 9th also at 6:30pm.

•       IMPORTANT: We have decided to have the last two meetings of the semester on TUESDAYS at 6:30pm… this is a change that we hope will allow more people to attend meetings.

•       Last, but not least… come to the meeting on December 2nd @ 6:30 to hear an exciting surprise about next semester…you don’t wanna miss it.
