Hello ALAS members,

I wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for allowing me to serve as
your graduate advisor for the past two years.

I've enjoyed getting to know you, learning more about culture and latino/a
issues, and having fun. I only wish I could have had more time in my
schedule to get to know more of you. Please know that as I graduate and
move into a full-time position as a career counselor on a college campus I
feel better prepared to serve as an advocate for diverse students, so
THANK YOU for teaching me!!!

Since I am graduating, I wanted to let you all know that Cecilia (CC)
Suarez ([log in to unmask]) has agreed to be your advisor next year. She
is a graduate student in the College Student Personnel program, and if you
do not know her yet, she is a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about
student organizations. Please (especially exec!) utilize her knowledge and
get to know her next fall! Best of luck - ALAS just keeps getting better
and next year will be no exception.
