Hi everyone, here are the notes from yesterday's meeting

1-Volunteers for La Botz' class. He needs Latin american students to go to
this class and talk about their experience(panel like conversation). this
is THURSDAY 3:30 pm 275 UPH (aka TOMORROW.

2- Gospel Fest  Saturday Feb 18th   $ 8 each ticket @ the Box Office.
If you are planning on going get your ticket SOON because they DO get sold
out. Plus it will be FUN!!

3- BSAA Black History Month Week.
     --> Next week / More info will be sent through the server
There will be a program for each day; movie, games, speaker among other
activities
That Friday -next week- there will be a "voices of color" on Hamilton
campus. The miami metro can take you there and if you plan ahead you might
be able to get a ride... Plan on going ;)!!

4- ALAS will also be part of the "Red Carpet" Formal
there will be food and prizes and a DJ playing Asian, Indi and Latin music

5- RELAY FOR LIFE MARCH 31st! Fundraiser for Cancer research. Goes all
night long and each team needs to have people walking at all times
("Cancer does NOT sleep"
WE, ALAS, will have our own group, make sutre you can go, Start raising
money (each group needs about $100 if not more...)

6- Carnival will not be on March 4th, it has been pushed back to April 7th

7-Cafe conversaciones are up again. Wednesdays at 3 pm in konfenia (uptown)
