For future leaders of ALAS (or any organization for that matter), I am
putting together a panel of students to engage in dialogs with the "need
to know" administrators at Miami University so that issues of Latino and
minority affairs can be addressed specifically and effectively. I, along
with United States Hispanic Leadership Institute guidance, will be
establishing the College Leadership Development Program (CLDP) here at
Miami and I am looking for those who would be interested in spending a few
hours on Fridays (4-6pm or 5-7pm) and would like to get involved with the
program. After the culmination of the program you will get a certificate
and will be invited to the annual United States Hispanic Leadership
Conference in Chicago, Ill next March as an honored guest. If this sounds
like something you might want to do you need to let me know ASAP so I can
register you. I know the Betas and Gammas would also benefit from this
program so spread the word and get back to me! Thank you and I hope that I
can get a respond from everyone because this is a program that is really
worth the time you put into it.
